Summer has arrived, and it's about time we released the first newsletter of the year! One event in 2022 holds a very special meaning for DARE, so we've saved this announcement until now. That's right, DARE and Uno-X Cycling Team are about to enter cycling’s most revered stage — the Tour de France!

In recent decades as women's equality has made strides of progress, women's professional racing too has gained more and more attention. After two years of preparation, DARE Bikes and Uno-X Cycling Team are proud to take part in that progress by officially registering the Uno-X Women’s World Team.

The Inaugural Women's Tour de France

After 33 years of waiting, cycling's biggest event, Tour de France, is officially hosting the first women's multi-stage race, Tour de France Femmes avec Zwift. In similar fashion to the first Tour de France in 1903, the competition will start off from Paris's Arc de Triomphe on Sunday, the 24th of July. From there on, a thrilling 8 days of racing will take cyclists over famous road, gravel, and climbing routes. Although there're only 8 days of racing, the event will be following the same format as Tour de France, already revolutionary step for the cycling world!
