DARE Bikes (hereinafter also referred to as “we” or this “Website”) deems protection of privacy and personal data as its first priority and is committed to protecting and respecting your privacy pursuant to the standards and rules set forth under the General Data Protection Regulation of European Union (Regulation (EU)2016/679).     We also use Local Storage
    This technology is a better version of cookies and replaces cookies to manage tasks related to shopping carts. When you shop on our site, we use the storage technology of local storage to support the data processing demands of online transactions, including processing information regarding the models, sizes and accessories of the bikes that you have selected, but it does not store users' personal identifiable information.
C. For What Purpose the Aggregate Data, Cookies and Device Data Are Collected
We collect aggregated data, device data, and cookies in order for us to make the Website more user-friendly, to have a better understanding of the visitors' use of our Website, and assist us in improving the structure and content of our Website. Aggregated Data is anonymous data derived from statistics and aggregation and will be used for advertisement and promotion analysis. We will not collect the data on a specific visitor's activities on the Website, such as tracing a particular visitor's browsing records on the Website.
D. For What Purposes the Personal Identifiable Information is Processed and the Legal Grounds for Such Processing
We process your personal data for the following purposes based on the following legal grounds:

    We will use your personal identifiable information as described in Article 2 to provide services to you. When you order a product from us, you will need to register as a member with us. Such information will not be stored in our system as it will be directly transferred to the relevant payment service providers for the specific transaction. We will use your e-mail address, phone number, or other contact information to contact you to complete an order, to respond to your inquiries, to notify you of the information on the product that you have purchased, or to respond to any questions that you may have. When you use this Website to search the frame sizes of bikes, you may provide us with information on your physical attributes such as height and standover height, and we will delete such data once you close the relevant web page. Such data processing will be based on the agreement(s) that we may enter into with you for your order of our products, request for our services, registration as our members and use of the Website.

    If you subscribe to our newsletters, product updates, and/or other marketing information, we will be sending such information to you at your e-mail address. We may process your personal data through traditional manual methods. We may also use computers and IT systems to process your personal data. Please note that we are not involved in any automated decision-making operation except for obtaining aggregated data from Google Analytics services, or the relevant activities by collecting cookies (see above section 3 Cookies). If we conduct profiling activities for marketing purposes, we will obtain consent from you and you will be further notified.
F. How Your Personal Data is Collected
We may collect your personal identifiable information directly from you in the course of our interaction with you. We may also obtain your personal identifiable information data from our third-party partners, such as the payment service provider or logistic service provider when we perform services or deliver products to you.

In order for us to provide the product or service required by you, we may need to transfer your personal data to relevant third parties, such as the payment service provider or logistics provider. Other than that, unless otherwise authorized by you, we will not provide your personal identifiable information to any third parties. If you are located outside of Taiwan, your personal identifiable information will be transferred from your location to Taiwan. During the course of our performing the sales contract or the service agreement with you, we may need to transfer your personal identifiable information out of Taiwan. For example, we will need to transfer your payment information or mailing address to our third-party partners which are located outside of Taiwan in order to receive payment from you or deliver the product to you. We will request our third-party partners to strictly protect your personal identifiable information.

If you are a European Union resident, you accept that your data can be transferred to Taiwan and other countries that do not offer an adequate level of protection as required by the European Union regulation on data protection.
I. How Long We Will Keep Your Personal Identifiable Information
We will store and keep your personal identifiable information as long as it is needed in order for us to provide services to you or during the time when you are our member. For receiving product updates, event invitations and other marketing information, we will store your personal identifiable Information until you notify us that you no longer wish to receive such information.

Except for the temporary files created during data transmission over the Internet, DARE Bikes stores all personal data collected on Amazon Web Services (AWS); such practice is in line with international norms regarding data security. We strive to provide proper protection and to prevent any unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or damage of the personal data that we possess. The measures that we have implemented in this regard include:
