In the new year, we are proud to announce our continued sponsorship partnership with the German UCI Continental Team Lotto Kern-Haus OUTLET Montabaur and Taiwan’s Bryton Racing Team. As a brand with roots in Taiwan and a global vision, DARE Bikes is dedicated not only to developing cutting-edge carbon fiber frames but also to investing resources and supporting top local young talents as one of our core missions.

This February, we will expand the Taiwan-Europe Spring Training Partnership Program, connecting these two major teams from Taiwan and Germany. Led by Bryton Racing Team captain and renowned national team cyclist Shao Hsuan Lu, the squad will include two rising stars, Da Zhong Wan and Ya Lun Lee. They will travel to Europe to participate in TEAM Lotto Kern-Haus OUTLET Montabaur’s spring training in Mallorca, Spain. This initiative is more than just technical refinement; it is a pathway to upgrade that we are building for Taiwanese cyclists. Those who perform exceptionally well will have the opportunity to officially join this German professional powerhouse this year.

Bridging Taiwanese Cyclists with World-Class Racing

We have always believed that Taiwan does not lack talented athletes, but rather the stage to connect with the world. Team Lotto Kern-Haus Outlet Montabaur is renowned in the German cycling community as a cradle for WorldTour riders. This team focuses on systematic training for U23 riders and holds qualification for multiple top-tier U23 events. As a former official strategic partner of WorldTour teams like INEOS Grenadiers and BORA-hansgrohe, they have successfully sent numerous riders to the sport’s highest level. This means that when Taiwanese cyclists join this spring training, they are effectively stepping onto the recruitment radar for the world’s top professional cycling tier.

2026 Training Roster: Generational Legacy and Rookie Development

King of Nantou | Shao Hsuan Lu

As a benchmark in Taiwanese road racing, Lu continued to demonstrate his all-around leadership style in 2025. Not only did he win individual stage championships in international races, but he also led his team to victory in the Tour de Huadong team time trial and served as a coach for the Chinese Taipei team at the Tour de Taiwan. Leading the squad this time, he will use his extensive international experience to help young riders shorten their adaptation period in Europe.

Time Trial Specialist | Da Zhong Wan

Returning with glory and growth. As the pioneer of the DARE 2025 spring training program, Wan’s unyielding fighting spirit on the field this year was evident to all. He served as the team spearhead in multiple international races and took second place in the year-end Lian Lian 197 race. After making his European debut last year, he will challenge the international stage again this year with more mature experience.

All-Round Rookie | Ya Lun Lee

A strategic new addition to the 2026 Bryton Racing Team, Lee will officially join in January 2026. This 19-year-old all-rounder boasts high-level professional data performance. In the 2024 Asian Junior Road Cycling Championships, he won second place in the road race with amazing willpower despite crashing and sustaining injuries. In 2025, he won the White Jersey General Championship in Taiwan’s famous 96 Liga. Lee stated that his motivation for joining the team is to pursue high-tension international racing experiences, which is exactly the core value provided by the DARE European project.

Letting Taiwanese riders and brands shine together on the world stage remains our unchanging original intention. We invest not only in top-tier equipment like the PA-AFO and VA-AFO models but also in transforming the brand’s international influence into tangible opportunities. Through this transnational cooperation in 2026, we hope to become the driving force for more outstanding athletes to stand on the world stage. By maintaining close technical exchanges with these elite cyclists, we aim to develop the most competitive equipment and drive deep innovation in cycling.
